FYS experience

I am asked to do experience paper but this week I have none. So instead I will type on how my week was. Better than nothing, right? This week feels like a blur really.  On Monday, I had English, FYS and math class. English class was good but I was a little tired. We were discussing the chapters about argument and evidence. We also discussed Purdue University’s OWL. It stands for Online Writing Lab. It is a very interesting website because it has almost everything you need. It has literary analysis which is good for English Class. In FYS class we had the author Hands of My Father come to our class and talked about his life. It was pretty interesting. I did not go to my math class because my former school was here visiting for open house and I have not seen my best friend since August. I am sure I missed nothing so it’s all good. I wanted to spend time with her before she left at 3.  I saw some of my other friends from my school too. On Tuesday I had Linguistic and ASL class. Linguistic was a little fun. We talked about scores on our test and overall grade. Then we talked about different types of system of communication. We partnered up and identified one video and tell how we identify it.  In ASL it was pretty interesting. We talked about name signs. We learned about ANS (Arbitrary Name Sign) and DNS (Descriptive Name Sign). Mine is ANS. We then learned all of our classmate’s name sign. People can have both. I think the professor said something about ASN cannot overlap ASL signs? Something like that. Interesting huh? I think so too. Backtrack to the weekend!! I save the best for the last. This weekend, wow. Friday was good. I stayed up and talked with friends until 7 in the morning. I was planning on going to the football game and help with my brothers fraternity on Saturday but…. I overslept. Damn it. It’s the second time in a row. Next game, I’m seriously getting up. That day, there was a club event hosted by my brother’s fraternity, Kappa Sigma. The club was banging!! I met their hearing fraternity brothers. They were very nice. I love the Kappa Sigma fraternity. They are very nice and have interesting people in it.  Kappa Sigma is internationally known. Most colleges have that fraternity. If you want to know more go to http://www.kappasigma.org/
